Description
1958 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe. The brilliant white color of the car and Hartz black canvas convertible top and boot are in excellent condition. The fixtures on the car, including the front and back chrome bumpers, license plate light housing and emblems, are also in excellent condition and look incredible.
The entire interior of the car is also in excellent condition, including the (i) wood Jaguar Moto Lita steering wheel, (ii) all the seats and side door panels, which are all fully wrapped in black Connolly leather, (iii) the carpet, and (iv) the dashboard which houses the period-correct black Smith’s gauges, and AM/FM radio mounted to the underside of the dashboard.
Under the hood, there is a clean and detailed engine bay which includes a 3.4L straight 6 cylinders. The cylinders have been bored .20 oversize and the compression is 8.00:1. The engine block has been repainted in the correct and “original” avocado green color. The engine number is V1651-8. There are also twin S.U. side mount carburetors. Attached to the engine is a new 5-speed manual transmission, but the original 4-speed manual transmission, numbered JLS38029CR, was safely stored and can be included with the car. The XK150 sits upon a set of updated chrome Jaguar wire wheels wrapped with new genuine 6.00-16 white wall tires and includes matching chrome spare. It should also be mentioned that this Jaguar is equipped with 4-wheel disc brakes for optimum stopping power, with new calipers and pads all around.
This car is being sold AS IS. Please contact seller if you would like to come inspect the car. Seller is located in Fountain Valley, CA. To see more pictures, please copy and paste this url link in your browser:
