Description
This car is a true classic, but is not numbers matching.
Left hand drive built for export, it represents the height of refinement for the XK line. It has windows that roll up thus eliminating the side curtains, four wheel disc brakes and much improved engine cooling.
Our car having been stored for a number of years, will require a proper frame off restoration to do it justice. It is a project for someone with the skill set to do much of the work himself. Replacement floor pans, trunk wheel well and rear shroud pieces are readily available in the United States.
The frame will require some attention on the driver's side just ahead of the rear axle.
As evidenced by the pictures, someone has welded the rear fenders to the shroud. A pair of replacement rear fenders, in excellent condition, come with the car.
Ninety percent of the body work required is to the rear of the vehicle.
In addition, a set of front fenders and other miscellanea also come with the car.
The transmission and the 3.8 liter engine accompanying this car are from a 1961 Jaguar.
When completed this JAGUAR XK 150 will be stunningly beautiful.
