Engine, Starts and runs well. no Rattles or clunks when running driving.
Less than £200 a year to insure.
Last year I did 450 miles
previous year 125 miles
previous to that 800 miles.
I am not desperate to sell. Just do not have time to use.
Over all good condition for a car that is almost 20 years old
Usual rust starting to show on wheel arches door corners.
ABS Traction control warning light comes on intermittently.
Key fob not working I use the key (spar key plus the green valet key)
The nob for adjusting the mirrors has broken off, you can still adjust the mirrors with a pin in the switch.
CD Radio code lost,
Leaking rear diff. Lots of questions on this. You will be hard pressed to find an XJ6 of this age that is not leaking. Its more of a weep, dos not drip on the drive. the half shaft seals weep, this is then thrown on to the exhaust by the half shaft. On a long run you may be able to smell burning oil. I top it up once a year. Just thought it was worth mentioning.
