1984 Jeep CJ-7
The whole jeep had a fiberglass body put on it except for the front grill is the only thing that's left steel. The project was done about 12 years ago, but it's still in great shape and the jeep was hardly driven. The odometer shows 102,000. I was told the engine was rebuilt at 90,000 when the body was off of it, but I can't confirm that. It has the 4.2 straight 6 motor with a manual 4-speed transmission. Just installed brand new tires. Newer muffler and tailpipe. I do have matching color steel doors that aren't in the best shape for it. I have a car cover over that I will include with the sale. I have a brand new soft top still in the box as well, but I've never installed for it. The temperature gage isn't reading. Not sure if it's hooked up right or what? The oil pressure gage sometimes bounces around from 0 to 60. Not sure if it's the gage or the oil pressure sending unit, but I believe the engine to be fine. The speedo reads off some as I've used my GPS on my phone and when it says it's 55 on the speedo my GPS says 65. The fuel gage seems to work well. If you're familiar CJ gages this is a typical battle that I've found with them.
