Description
1952 Authentic M38A1 Willy's Jeep from Korean war era that's been converted to a "Brush Fire" Truck! Fits inany garage! Complete with functioning fire pump and 4wd , original 4 cyl. Jeep engine- runs great!
The M38A1 was a workhorse in the military during the Korean campaign and many were left over and distributed to other uses such as fire trucks. We think this may have served time on an airfield or aircraft carrier as it has telltale yellow paint on parts of the undercarriage / frame. But, no real history on this rig otherwise.
The add on "Barton" pump is rated at 400-500 GPM and works! plumbing from the previous tank on the rig has been disconnected as well as pump drive for better drivability. New tires about 8 years ago plus new paint job (was Orange prior), makes this a fabulous parade piece. Veterans love it!
This jeep runs and drives great and has been garaged most of it's life, evidenced by no rust or rot. If you're looking for a real unique CJ to have some fun with, this is it!
