1972 Jeep CJ5 - For Sale
This is a rare Jeep CJ that has been restored to a condition that you can really enjoy. It's not a "show Jeep", but it definitely one you want to take care of and enjoy. I purchased this Jeep in 2003 when I was a college student and spent the next ten years rebuilding it as I had the time and money. The only two parts of this Jeep that have not been opened up and rebuilt or reconditioned is the transmission and the differentials. Everything else, right down the heater core, blower motor, windshield wiper motor, sending unit in the gas tank. basically everything has been rebuilt or replaced. See list below. Very rare to find a CJ like this with power steering. If I remember correctly, the power steering unit came off a 70s Jeep Wagoneer. I had a mechanic install it and it works great, really improves the enjoyment of driving the jeep. Since I lifted the jeep 2.5", I added wheel spacers at each hub. I really enjoyed restoring this Jeep, but it just sits. I just don't have time to enjoy it and I think it needs to be passed on to someone that will have fun with it.
