1979 JEEP CJ5RESTORED - NEW PAINT - NEW MOTOR - FULL TOP & DOORS - SEE VIDEO

Selling 1979 Classic Jeep CJ5. Vin decodes as J =Jeep. 9 for 1979 model year. F for factory t-150 manual transmission. Jeep lived in sunny, rust free, no salt Arizona for the past 20 plus years. Used as a week end run around vehicle and towed behind a motor home from time to time. Other than that parked in a garage. The new motor installed first 4,200 driven miles ago. So listing as 4,200 being that on the build I just finished. Many labor hours and dollar spent replacing, repairing or rebuilding anything in question. Making it a very reliable, good looking, nice driving and handling CJ today. Nothing is perfect not even a new Jeep. ( But in my opinion as a 40 year CJ person this CJ is ready to drive and enjoy as you can see in video or in person). It took me well over 150 Plus labor hours to finished my part of the long list of many items big and small to finish this build. *Jeep has a new complete rebuilt 6 cly 4.2 CJ motor fitted under the hood today. *4,200 driven miles on the new motor. Radiator also upgraded to better aluminum core radiator for superior cooling over stock. The frame and bottom side everything cleaned, painted or treated in sem water proof / rust proof treatment . The floor pans look original in nice conduction. The floors look nice on the inside as well as the bottom side. SEE PHOTOS & VIDEO. This Jeep is sanitary inside, outside, bottom side and even under the hood. Jeep body, floor pans and fenders look very original and not cut up. No body armor to hide anything ugly. Jeep was painted in the last 30 days in the color of Hot rod black. Some call satin black or black ops black. ( See the BODY and PAINT in walk around VIDEO ). Not built to be a national show Jeep that lives on a trailer. ( This CJ was built to drive and enjoy as then should be ). New 31 tall by 10.5 wide 15 inch A/T tires just installed. The suspension under Jeep was replaced with a nicer 2 inch mild spring suspension lift, new poly spring bushings and nicer Bilstein shocks = Much nicer ride and handling quality over stock. New power steering gear box installed. Front end re set at correct 5 deg caster. Front sway bar was fitted with off road disconnects for better ride quality and suspension travel when driving off road. This CJ now Drives, Shifts, Stops & Handles very nice = JUST WATCH THE FULL DRIVING VIDEO. * ( You drive this CJ - Not it drive you) . New gas tank and gas gauge tank sending unit. All rubber fuel lines replaced new. All bottom side running gear inspected, rebuilt or repaired as needed. Then everything serviced and fluids replaced. All running gear = The Motor, transmission, 4 by 4 transfer case, front end, rear end, brakes, u joint, steering parts and so on in good conduction and great working order today. The power disc brakes will stop you straight and on a dime. No lane drift or wheel pull when driving or stopping. New window wiper motor installed. The Heater, lights and dash gauges all work now. The original painted dash was replaced with a nicer looking stainless dash to add some inside bling = SEE PHOTOS. New LED Headlights installed = Much brighter than stock. New LED Off road lights and brackets installed on windshield lower edge. Jeep has a Power Winch, Tow bar set up - with Tow bar if you ever want to tow it. *Jeep was wired with a must use " power cut off switch" to disable everything = No power of any kind can running thru system. When you turn on the kill switch = it like you removed the battery. Nice for towing with key on to unlock steering wheel no battery drain and will even help prevent theft. Jeep also comes with the nicer Best Top super top a Full soft top with full soft doors for year round driving. Top is in excellent conduction = See Video. All the windows zip out leaving you a "full sun shade that covers both front and rear passengers. I'm sure i have missed a few thing so watch the Video for more details.
