1959 Jeep CJ-5

We are offering this beautiful 1959 Jeep Willys for sale. The vehicle had a frame off restoration roughly eight years ago and the original engine was replaced with a completely rebuilt Chevrolet 350 cubic inch motor from a 1960 Corvette. The transmission, differential, and transfer case were also rebuilt at the same time as the engine. It was painted frame off, and the interior was redone with a custom flare. A Hobart adapter kit was used to connect the transmission and transfer case.All the systems of the vehicle have been restored or replaced and the paint will need a few touch ups. Beyond that, this Jeep is in great condition. It is has been stored in a garage and covered. In addition, there has only beenone mechanic who has worked on it.
In the previous listing the question that was asked to me was, "why are you selling it if it is so great"? The reason is that I have a young family now and we are beyond busy with children's sports and activities. I just don't have the time for the drives on the beach, down to second street here in Long Beach for a Friday night social, and to the monthly car shows. I hate it that it is only driven once a week just to get it out and moving. It is a beautiful vehicle, and it needs to be seen not sitting in my garage.
