1982 Jeep CJ5 Renegade. Single family owned.Off the road since 1991.

This Jeep CJ5 Renegade is an original CA survivor, as it was only on the road for the first 10 years of it's life.Until my purchase last year, it was single family owned from new.The last registration sticker on the original CA blue plate is from 1991, as it was not being driven.The original paint and Renegade stripes have held up very well and it has not even been buffed out.The Iron Duke 2.5L 4cyl was rebuilt 730 miles ago and runs perfect, idles perfect. Alternator and Carb appear new. Total mileage is unknown. The transmission is a factory Borg Warner T-5, mated to a Dana 300 transfer case.The five 31x10.5 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3 tires also have less than 1,000 miles on them and look new with no dry cracking or anything.It has a new exhaust system with Maglaflow muffler, catalytic converter and pipes.
360 degree drone video here:floors are 100% rust free, but it does have a bad spot on the driver side body under the paint and stripes as pictured (looks worse in the photo I think).The other side has it as well, but much less.There is a sandwich of two sheets of metal there where moisture got trapped.The windshield frame also has rust along the bottom edge under the rubber stripping and on the lower side of the frame on the driver side.It has brand new Bestop front/rear seats and new Bestop bikini top.Radio is missing, but has aftermarket voltmeter, oil pressure and water temp, all working.Oil pressure shows 50 psi at idle as pictured.Speedometer cluster was reset to zero miles when the motor was rebuilt.The fuel and temp gauge on the speedometer are not working/hooked up.
Clean title in my name and currently on non-op.I did not attempt to smog it, as I figured it would leave CA, but if you are in CA and are the winning bidder, I can take it for a smog check. All smog equipment present. I have more photos and can send through eBay. I have 100% Positive feedback, so bid with confidence!
