1977 Jeep CJ 5 "Camel Trophy Truck". This is a restored replica of the jeep used in the 1980 Camel Trophy that made the first crossing of the Amazon highway in Brazil. 258 inline six, T 18 four speed manual, Spicer 20 transfer case, power steering, heated front seats, Mould resistant custom carpet, original 1983 AMC soft top in great condition, good year off road tires, brush guard, fog lights, warn locking hubs, imobalizer, full spare tire with rear mount, original rear seat, hood mounted shovel, spotless fluids and oil changes every 750 miles. All original sheet metal body was in excellent condition. Only the two front fenders were replaced.Painted with PPG Base clear and undercoated. Every detail has been made to make this truck true to the original. Registered with the Camel Trophy owners club as a true original. Kept in dry heated storage, never driven in the rain and never seen a back road since restoration.Full restoration in 2011 with clean title. A truly unique one of a kind Jeep.
