4.7L HO V8
NOT RUNNING. Has a "no-crank" issue. Purchased it a few weeks ago believing it was just a bad starter motor but looks as though its more than that. Bench tested the starter and it seems fine. Pistons are not frozen, but something is stopping it from turning over. With a big socket on the crank pulley bolt it will move back and forth a few degrees but no more. Feels like something is jammed, engaged or broken either in the motor or in the front end of the transmission. Do not have time or money to investigate further.
Please look at pics carefully for the cosmetic issues. If you want any more detailed pics please contact me.
- Drivers seat has a little ware patch as does the drivers door armrest
- Rear drivers side seat has a cut in it
- Wheels have corrosion (picture is of worst one)
- Crack in front bumper
- Small dint in hood
- Small chip by passenger headlight
- Drivers side guard has top coat peeling on horizontal surface but it has mainly peeled back to body line so is not that noticeable
If this jeep were repaired it would be classed as good condition and it would blue book for about $4000. Or just part it out; It's worth over $2000 just in parts but I don't have the time. Or if you fancy yourself as a mechanic then I'm sure there's decent money to be made in fixing and flipping it.
Will be sold "as is" as "parts vehicle" with buyer responsible for CA smog. I cant smog it because it doesn't run. Will come with bill of sale, I Have title from original owner and all required DMV paperwork in my name.
Removal of the vehicle is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Can be delivered for $1 per mile
