Description

Thanks for looking at my Jeep Cherokee. I bought it earlier this year as a second car to go on holidays in. So far that has not eventuated. I have never tried the 4wd system out, so can't provide any info on that, except that the previous owner told me that it worked.
The vehicle will be sold unregistered, and a test drive is not possible, but if you would like to view the car prior to bidding, please send me a message and we can organise a mutually beneficial time.
Until last week, it was running fine, then on Saturday night the clutch gave out. I have had a quote for replacing the clutch and also replacing the rear seal and fluids, it was about $1,600. I have only had the one quote. I have thought about doing it myself, but this has usually been the most expensive option for me! So I am going to set it free on Ebay.
It is quite neat on the inside, save for some stains/spills in the carpet. There are no tears in the carpet or the seat coverings, the roof lining is sagging quite badly, but it is almost 20 years old. It has cold air-conditioning, which the previous owner spent a bit of money on. It has all new tyres that were replaced when I bought it. It has a brand new bullbar, which was about $2,100. I have not had anything done to it since I have bought it, except the bullbar, as I have only had it for around 6 months and it wasn't due for a service until now, and didn't need anything done to it.
It has been quite economical, when it is running, for the size and power of the vehicle.
It also has a Hayman Reece Towbar. I also have some sidesteps/running boards that the previous owner gave me, but I don't have all the brackets.
This car was going to be my ongoing project, but I have another car and other things to spend my money on, like bills
Please feel free to send me through any questions, I will attend to them as quickly as I can.
Everyone usually says this, but I will be sad to see it go, but I believe that somebody else out there will be able to fix it up, or sell it for parts, which are probably worth a lot more than the reserve price.
