Description
Selling my 1995 Jeep Wrangler. I love the Jeep and definitely would like to keep it but I'm moving soon and I can't take it with me.
When I first started this project I had every intention on keeping it, so I did everything I could think of to restore it properly. If you don't know, 95 was the only year that the YJ had a galvanized frame, this is why I chose this one to put the work into. The frame was solid everywhere, unlike a lot of others I looked at.
The paint job is not a factory color, so you won't see another one like this. I'm sure you can tell from the pictures that it's sharp looking but it's even nicer in person.
The whole frame and underside of the body was coated twice with a rust preventer called por 15, its great stuff if you're not familiar.
I recently put a new clutch kit in it, and while I had it out I changed the rear main seal as well.
It has new front brakes and lines all the way around, floor pans, shocks, muffler, windshield and gaskets, soft top, front axel u-joints, tune up and valve cover gasket.
Every fluid has been changed except power steering. Even the differentials, transfer case and transmission.
The engine is the 2.5 and runs great but it has 161k on it, so my plan was to run it into the ground and swap it. But I think it's going to be a while before that happens, these things are bullet proof and hit 200k+ all the time. The trans is good and works like it should. Also, the tires are in great shape and have a lot of life left.
It drives down the road nice and straight without any vibration or shaking. It does have an exhaust leak that I haven't addressed yet, nothing major though.
