Description
Bought this Jeep in 2017 with 198k miles on it, it now has 203k miles on it. The list of new parts and engine rebuild all have less than 5k miles on them. The Jeep was totally stock when purchased. When I purchased the Jeep the rear engine seal was leaking and at that time I decided to pull the engine and rebuild it. All engine machining was done at a machine shop, I assembled the engine, been doing this for 40+ years. The block checked out, not bored. The crankshaft checked out, was polished. Valve job conducted by the machine shop. No rust! The paint on the hood is faded. Following is a list of all I have done to it.
Engine rebuild - included machining, valve job, new cam and lifters, new pistons and rings, new bearings, seals and gaskets
New fuel injectors
New AC compressor
New AC accumulator
New alternator
New braded fuel line
New brake master cylinder
New front calipers
New front rotors and brake pads
New custom front and rear bumpers, rear bumper has a swing out spare tire carrier
New Badlands 12,000 lb winch
New high lift jack, hood mounted
New LED fog lights
New 4.5" lift kit (kit was a selection of individual parts suggested by a CA lift shop (not an off the shelf kit)
Mickey Thompson 33x12.5 tires (less than 5k miles)
Custom steel wheels
New "Carr" side steps (I have the original running boards which will go with the Jeep)
Front differential was completely rebuilt to include new hubs, u-joints, bearings and seals
Rear differential has been completely rebuilt to include new axles, bearings and seals
New heavy duty front adjustable lower control arms
New front upper control arms
New rear upper and lower control arms
New JKS heavy duty front track bar
New heavy duty rear track bar
New Quick disconnect bar links
New steering damper
New Rancho 5000 shocks
New coil springs front and rear
Interior driver and passenger grab bars
Bought a used hard top and had painted the same color as the rag top (tan)
Hard top has a windshield wiper and defrost, both work
I have the soft top and all hardware in which has no tears and didn't leak, the soft top goes with the Jeep
Just changed the oil and flushed the transmission
