I have for sale my 1997 Jeep Wrangler. It is white, 5 speed, 2.5 4cyl, raised 1.5", 160,000 miles.
It is very good condition with no chassis rust underneath, no checkengine lights. . Very very strong trunk and floors are solid. Had thecar for 18 months and hasn't let me down at all. Has inspection tillAugust 2015.
When I bought the car new it had a brand soft top roof which doesn'tleak at all, new spark plug leads. Since then I have brand new brakesall round discs and pads (few months old), New exhaust back, newbattery, new rear speakers few months old. New oil filter change lastweek. All of the above done by myself including arms and hubs greased.
Bad points: Drivers seat is pretty torn up. Was given Jeep covers whichhave been on it ever since as I never looked for replacement seats.Sounds like driver side front wheel bearing starting to whine. Exhausthas leak coming from manifold to down pipe somewhere. May be gasket notbad at all. If you check history report it shows a couple of bumps onthe history back in 2002 which I checked before buying. I unfortunatelyadded another one driving last year. Driver clipped the right rearcorner last year at Christmas 2013 at a set if traffic lights so Icalled the Insurance. The wheel has a chip on it but only tire wasreplaced. Car drivers perfectly straight.
Car is in great shape starts first time every time and does notoverheat. Daily driver for me but looking for Mitsubishi Evo in the nearfuture.
