Description

For sale is my 1997 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 5 speed
I purchased this vehicle as a project to add a plow, unfortunately my wife's transmission went and I was forced to buy her a vehicle. I am selling this because I need the money and I can't afford to make this Jeep the vehicle I know it could be. As a result I have never registered or put the vehicle on the road. I bought this vehicle and it would not go into gear. I put the clutch and Slave cylinder in and repaired the skid plate bolts and frame to enable the vehicle to run and drive. There is a bearing type noise in the drive train that I have been unable to pinpoint as transmission or transfer case.
Vehicle is sold as-is.
New Clutch, Pressure Plate, Throwout Bearing, New Slave Cylinder. Newer Water Pump and Radiator. I have 2 front fenders unpainted that I will include in the vehicle. The windshield is cracked and will need to be replaced.
Jeep is lifted with a Rubicon Express 3.5" Superflex lift with adjustable control arms. Both front and rear axles were swapped out and are now 4:10 gear ratio. Tires are 33" Mickey Thompson Baja Claws mounted on 2003 Jeep Rubicon 16" rims with approximately 60% tread remaining. Has 2003 door mirrors. Both front fenders have rot and will need to be replaced. The drivers side and passenger side frame right before the rear tire has been repaired due to rot. The skid plate bolts have been replaced and fabrication has been done to allow ease of access to remove the bolts in the future. The hood is faded and peeling. Comes with hard top and full doors as well as soft top. Has A to Z Fabrication Rocker Guards. Interior shows wear but it is in decent shape. The Jeep is being sold as is with no warranty
Vehicle runs and drives, but it is not registered and hasn't been driven for any period of time since I have owned it. I would suggest trailering or towing the vehicle to it's destination and then going through it.
