Being re-listed (AGAIN) due to complete ebay numpty!!
After reading this please don't bother me with stupid offers on my jeep, if you think you can get one like this with 17k on the clocks and in this condition for less then good luck!!! If you know anything about jeep tj's and the associated parts on it you'll know that it'll cost you more than 15 grand to build one just like this.
Right, after owning this jeep for just a little over a year and spending a small fortune on it (9k in parts and labour) its time for me to sell it for something a little more practical!
I bought this from the original lady owner with just over 14k on the clock (and completely standard), service history and a folder of receipts from her and now from me aswell. It was first registered on her own private plate and then given an age related plate just before I purchased it. I bought this as it ticked all the right boxes for me.black, factory hardtop, air conditioning, and of course only one owner with very low mileage. This jeep is one of the nicest jeeps your likely to come across, if you don't believe me come and take a look for yourself! There has been no expense spared and has got all the right parts if your looking for a jeep that performs as good as it looks. MOT is due in November 2015.
Interior is in near mint condition (no rips or tears anywhere), everything works as it should, and theres no knocks or bangs from the upgraded suspension. Has the added bonus of the factory fit roof sound bar.
Everything that isn't standard has been replaced with brand new items imported from the states, and if they wasn't fitted by me they were done at F.T.E jeep specialists in Rayleigh,essex. Steve really knows his stuff there.
Below is a list of the items that have been changed/done in my ownership. I'll probably miss out a few bits as there was a lot that went onto this wrangler! Please, if you know your wranglers then you'll probably know what this little lot has cost me, so if you want to make an offer make it a serious one or your message will just be ignored!!
I have only done one off-road day in this as you can see in the last picture, it coped so well and is amazing what it can do. It wasn't a hardcore offroad day (yarwell in Peterborough), so isn't a worn out example like so many out there for sale at the moment.
Rough country 4" X-series lift kit with performance 2.2 shocks.
True trac front and rear lsd diffs fitted, along with matching 4.56 ratio ring and pinions. (fitted by FTE)
Front axle uj's fitted at the same time as diffs.
Correct mopar speedo drive fitted and reads spot on!
Rough country S.Y.E kit and matching rear prop. No budget transfer case lowering kits here!!!
Rocky road adjustable rear track bar, FTE re-worked adjustable front trackbar.
FTE steering shock re-location bracket.
Rugged ridge extended wheel arch flares,( not fibreglass rubbish)
16" x 8j Mickey Thompson classic lock alloys, with 285/75/16 cooper discoverer STT tyres (set of 5)
Bestop spare wheel carrier.
New viscous fan coupling fitted.
Recent fluid changes, engine oil+filter, front and rear diffs (only changed due to an off road day), transfer case oil (changed with sye conversion), and gearbox oil (using the very particular mopar oil designed for this gearbox).
Wax oyl'ed chassis and inside of doors. (has never been welded neither does it need any)
Clear front+side indicator lenses and amber bulbs.
Stainless steel exhaust from the cat back, gives just the right straight six sound without being too loud.
Powder coated front+rear anti-roll bars, with new bushes.
Extended braided brake lines front and rear.
New mopar steel back axle brake pipes and new wheel cylinders.
American spec front bumper end caps.
Hardtop weatherstrip also bonnet to vent panel weather seal replaced.
Uprated ring xenon headlight bulbs.
LCD pager alarm fitted, with shock and ultrasonic sensors.
Rear led fog lights fitted into the rear bumper.
