Description

1999 Jeep Wrangler 4.0l Sport Automatic.
This Jeep is the result of a True Labor of Love. My Wife had always wanted a Jeep since she was a kid, but she wanted a Pink Jeep like Barbie. I had looked for quite some time to find the perfect Jeep to start with and at a price I could work with. Finally found it January 2012. It was a Theft Recovery Jeep. Being stripped it made it easier to do it the way I wanted to. I spent 7 weeks working on it every evening and some days from early morning till almost midnight. It was a surprise birthday gift for my Wife. I wanted it to have something special to notice no mater what angle you were looking at it. My wife and I are looking to sell the Jeep to have the money to lift a brand new Unlimited and paint it Pink.
Overall:
The Jeep was a Loaded Sport 4.0l Wrangler with a hard top. The wiring harness for the Rear defrost and rear wiper is still in the Jeep. The Jeep spends its summers with a BestTop Bikini top on it. When it gets rainy we throw the SmittyBuilt cab cover over it. For the cold months we have a Black Half Cab soft top for it. Took the carpet out of the tub, and coated it with Bed Liner material. Looked High and low for Good condition 99 Wrangler seats until I found them. The wife picked out the wheels after I surprised her with the Jeep. The new wheels had a set of new BF Goodrich Mud Terrain 33x10.5x15 tires on them. The Jeep is painted with House of Kolors Pink. Its hard to truly show the color in pictures, the sun, shadows and lights give it a different hue at different angles.
Mechanically:
Took the time to go over the Jeep mechanically and fixed anything that was or could be an issue. It has a new Radiator, radiator hoses, Spark Plugs, wires, cap & rotor button. A bolt broke off from the cap in the distributor. So I replaced the distributor with a new one. Jeep has new ball joins and also U-joints on the front axle. New rotors, calipers and pads, new rear brakes. All new fresh fluids throughout Jeep. New Borla Stainless Steel Cat back exhaust. New shocks front and rear. New heater blower resistor and control panel so the heat works at all speed settings now.
Extras:
Regular headlights were fine, but why not something nicer, KC composite headlights. Clear marker lights. Flush mount LED tail lights and rear side marker LED lights LED license plate mounting bolts. LED reverse lights mounted into ProComp bumper. ProComp front and rear bumpers powder coated black. We Had HELLA Black Magic fog lights, however one ended up breaking. Black trim rings for around headlights (Not painted stock rings). Drake Stainless steel Engine hood bolts. Drake Stainless Steel Locking Gas Cap. TJ Rubicon front and rear fender flares (Wider than Stock TJ). Jeep rear truck storage box so you can actually keep things locked up safe.
The Jeep runs good. Does not smoke or use oil. Transmission shifts perfectly. The header/exhaust manifold had been welded up and it starting to leak again where the pipes meet at the collector. There is some rust directly under the middle of the driver door, and just a small spot starting under the passenger side door. Pics show the rust spots. Also there is a dent in the passenger rear corner of the tub, it was struck by a car while the wife had it parked at her work. Where the soft top half of the doors meet the metal half doors, there is some slight paint surface abrasions from where they rub.
