Hi and thanks for looking. Although it needs a wash in the pictures, I wouldlike to point out that this isn't 'just another' Wrangler Jeep. It is a low mileage SAHARA Limited Edition convertible and it has been very well cared for. It's never been smoked in or carried sheep! It's also never had a towbar fitted. It has the rarer 5 speed manual gearbox and it has a Chrysler/Jeep Main Dealer service history right up to almost 60,000 miles (11 main dealer service stamps). It will come with 12 months MOT and a full service for the new owners peace of mind. It comes in a lovely Metallic Green colour that reminds me of Landrovers Epsom Green but it's lighter. I can NOT see any evidence of previous repairs to the original bodywork and there are no horrid 'ripples' along the flanks. There is NO wear and NO rips, holes or tears to any of the immaculate interior. It started life as a main dealer demonstrator (I have all original documentation) and has been pampered by only 2 lady owners over the last 12 years.
With the hardtop in place, this car is genuinely just like any comfortable 4x4. By this I mean that even in the terrible storms we've had recently, it's completely quiet, warm, draught proof and waterproof. You've also the benefit of a heated rear window and a working rear wiper.unlike the rag-top version! When the summer does eventually come, the hard top is simply removed. It's just been fitted with some whopping 31x10.5 Nexen M+S tyres, a full set of Black Raptor 30mm Anodised alloy wheel spacers and a U.S. style front bumper conversion. I've stopped short of fitting a lift kit since it's high enough already! It also has;
Drivers/passengers airbags - Heated Rear Screen - Rear wash/wipe - Adjustable column Power Steering - Genuine Jeep alloys - Factory Sound bar - 4 excellent tyresSelectable Hi/Lo 2wd/4wd - Factory remote alarm (2 keys/remotes) - Lights On warning buzzerOriginal Jeep sound system with code - Owners handbooks - Folding Windshield etc etc
This car is of course completely HPi clear (never been in anyaccidents, never been stolen and no finance owing) but please feel freeto check yourself. As previously, it's NEVER been smoked in and the interior actually still has that 'new' smell. It drives extremely well, pulling VERY strongly in all gears. I don't claim to be a mechanic but I'm not aware of anymechanical issues. All panel gaps are perfect and I believe all of thepaintwork is completely original. She starts first turn of the key, every time. There are no awful clunks or knocks,it never runs hot, it doesn't use any oil or water (other than normal) and theclutch/gearbox are all good. It's hard to believe she's 18 years old but it's obviously not new so expect the odd minor mark here and there.
I'm neitherstupid nor desperate for money so pathetic offers will be ignored. These cars have quite a following and nice, GENUINE ones are hard to find or ridiculously overpriced! I'mbased near Darlington which is next to the A1 Motorway and is also onthe main East Coast railway line. London is only 2 hours 25 minutes bytrain and Edinburgh is only 2 hours away.
