Frank the Tank as he is affectionately known by the family is a great all rounder.Great for towing as has a massive braked towing limit of 2700kg ( Freelander only has 1800kg)
Kia Sorento's are very hard to come by, as they are sought after for their towing capabilities and also drives like a car for comfortable long trips.
Mot'd on 25th February 2014 so has a long Mot and Tax runs out on the 1st September 2014.
No work at all needed for last MOT.
Frank is very low mileage for his year, and bodywork in good condition for a 10 yr old car.
4 x new tyres that cost £700, these are very chunky tyres that will last years before the tread wears down, great for off roading.
We pay £230 insurance for 2 drivers, not sure what band that would be.
Fuel wise he is cheaper than my old car ( which was a petrol 1600cc grand scenic)
Parcel Shelf - not in photo but is now in the car, factory fitted, and matches interior.
2 x Sunglass compartments in the ceiling.
3 x 12v sockets, for sat nav, phones etc, one in front, one in the back and one in the boot.
2 large storage compartments in drivers arm rest
Armrest in rear for passengers
2 drink holders in the front and 2 drink holders in the rear
Please note the private plates will not be included with the sale of this vehicle.
Bad bits
1) front passenger side bumper slight scuff, you can see this in the photo ( very minor would probably buff off)
2) driver side rear bumper slight damage to the corner
3) Works in 2wd and 4wd no problems whatsover but the 4wd low light is always on on the dashboard, I did ask the garage about this when he went in for his MOT 2 yrs ago and they said it would be the electronic selector box, which if you wanted it fixed would probably be about £100, we haven't bothered as it makes no difference to us at all.
Thats it!! NO more bad bits, this really is a smart 4x4 that is the real deal and is reliable.
