Description
Lamborghini Charlotte is thrilled to offer this stunning and extremely rare 2014 Gallardo Squadra Corse with only 283 miles. One of only 50 produced worldwide, the Squadra Corse is the final street-legal variant of the Gallardo ever produced, and is truly something special and is a welcome addition to any collector. It is also the fastest variation of the Gallardo that Lamborghini ever produced, Presented in Giallo Midas Pearl exterior, this pristine example includes the following options and equipment: IPOD AND USB INTERFACE -- HOMELINK -- MANUAL CARBON FIBER RACING SEATS -- BLUETOOTH PHONE -- TRAVEL PACKAGE -- CARBON CERAMIC BRAKES WITH YELLOW CALIPERS -- 19-INCH RA FORGED WHEELS IN HIGH GLOSS BLACK -- -EGEAR 6-SPEED TRANSMISSION -- HIGH REAR WING -- MORE! The name is derived from Lamborghinis Motorsport Department, responsible for producing the factorys competition spec cars. It is only fitting, then, for the most extreme street version of the Gallardo to bear that same name. The Gallardo Squadra Corse uses a 570 HP V-10 engine that is, along with the majority of the car, built to the racing specification of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo. Using a 6-speed E-Gear transmission, the Squadra Corse sprints from 0-60 MPH in 3.0 seconds, from 0-125 MPH in just over 12 seconds, and it will ultimately find a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. The Squadra Corse has a unique look compared to other Gallardos as well, allowing it to be easily identified as one of the 15 North American limited editions. Some of the more obvious design touches include the massive rear carbon composite wing developing three times the downforce of the LP 560-4. In addition, the cars sport a quick-release carbon composite engine cover that is exactly like the Super Trofeo race cars, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and a special rear diffuser. Finally, a lengthy red, white and green accent stripe trails along the lower edges of the body. More subtly, the Gallardo Squadra Corse was built with a plethora of aluminum and carbon fiber components and panels throughout, achieving a weight reduction of about 155 pounds versus a standard Gallardo 570-4. Keeping it firmly planted on the ground is an all-wheel drive system, carbon ceramic brakes and, of course, the aforementioned rear wing and revised lower body aerodynamics. The Squadra Corse was only available in four body colors: Giallo Midas (yellow), Bianco Monocerus (white), Grigio Thalasso (gray) and Rosso Mars (red), all of which contrast well with the black and carbon trims used throughout. The 15 cars destined for the U.S. were all produced identically in Giallo Midas.
