Description
You are looking at my 1987 Land Rover Defender 90. It has covered 184,000 miles.
It is fitted with a 300tdi engine as well as the later R380 (Reverse by 5th) gearbox which is much better than the earlier LT77.
I have some service history for the engine that the car came from.
The car is taxed till the end of October 2014 and has Mot till May 2015.
Winch bumper fitted with 13000lbs winch that has not yet been used. It has 4x 235/85 R16 Insa Turbo Special Track Tyres on 8 spoke wheels with plenty of tread. (Please be aware that if you are not familiar with these tyres or a defender then they will be noisy). Snorkel fitted. Rear bumperettes fitted. Recent rear cross member.
There are 3 seats in the front and 2 bench seats in the rear. Spare wheel is also in the rear against the middle bulkhead. Sony Cd player fitted. Two work lights fitted to rear of vehicle and two spot lights on front.
As is normal with defenders there are some small faults. These are a slight engine oil leak, a power steering leak, the indicators sometimes are intermittent and the clutch release bearing is slightly noisy on some mornings but only when initially used and then is fine all day and sometimes for weeks (it had a new clutch kit before I had the car approx 12 months ago). This has never caused an issue but I want to be as honest as I can be.
The Land Rover is advertised for sale elsewhere and I reserve the right to end the auction early at any time.
