Mechanically
perfect with retained original patina!
Very hard to find in this condition and low price.
Car went through a three-year mechanical and cosmetic (where needed) restoration. Documented work included:
New motor (only the block, crank, pistons and rods were used from a core)
Fairey Overdrive installed
Electronic ignition
New fuel tank, sending unit, filler and fuel lines
All new hydraulics, new brakes, new brake drums (4)
All new wheels (4), all new tires (5)
New wiring harness
New left swivel (front axle)
All new light fixtures (all turn signals, brake lights and license plate light)
New headlights (uprated to modern halogen)
New parking brake and hardware
All new engine, transmission and transfer case mounts
New hoop set, new canvas top
New seats, door panels Car retains its original paint and highly desirable patina.
It is currently registered in California through April 2019. No CA smog required!
This is a very solid, and driveable Land Rover that needs nothing!
