Summary
This 1987 Land Rover 110 was imported to the US in 2018 and modified by Monarch Defender in Chicago, Illinois.
Power is from a 6.2-liter GM LS3 V8 paired with a 6L80e automatic transmission, and the truck has been refinished in Nara Bronze over two-tone beige leather. Additional build details include custom boxed fenders, glass roof panels, Fox shocks, four-wheel disc brakes, 20″ alloy wheels, four heated and cooled seats (rear seats are heated only), custom wood trim and storage, electric windows and locks, a touchscreen stereo, and LED lighting. This Defender 110 is offered with a clean Arizona title.
The truck was fitted with an aftermarket wide-body kit prior to repaint in bronze with a black roof. Accessories include LED lights, a custom grille, a rear tube bumper, step bars, a Puma-style hood, and panoramic glass roof panels.
Wheels, Tires, and Suspension
Black 20″ wheels with machined faces wear 275/55 Kumho Road Venture tires, and a matching spare is mounted to the swing-out carrier at the rear. Additional modifications include four-wheel disc brakes with slotted and cross-drilled front rotors in addition to Fox shocks, SuperPro suspension bushings, and front and rear anti-roll bars.
Full Custom Interior
The cabin has been reupholstered in two-tone leather with custom wood trim and storage compartments. Please note there are a couple cracks in the wood trim due to the Arizona heat.Front two eight-way power-adjustable seats feature heating and cooling with the rear two featuing heating only. Additional modifications include a Vintage Air HVAC system with a Dakota Digital controller as well as power windows and door locks, a Kenwood touchscreen headunit with 8 speakers.
An aftermarket wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Classics Instruments gauges including a 200-mph speedometer with a mechanical odometer showing just under 1500 miles. Total mileage is unknown. The transmission is shifted via an electronic push–button selector pad on the dash. The driver’s power window is said to stick.
Power
The General Motors 6.2-liter LS3 V8 wears Corvette coil pack covers and drives all four wheels through a 6L80E automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Reflective foil insulation lines the firewall and underside of the hood.
