Hello ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to present for your consideration this 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 County Station Wagon in Coniston Green with an Arctic White roof. This recently imported Landy spent its life in Spain taking pilots in training to the runway and now its ready to take you on whatever adventures you may have in mind. Less than 20k miles on the rebuilt 200Tdi, the absolute clawhammer of an engine that has taken on everything from the Camel Trophy to Al-Qaeda. The old LT77 transmission has been replaced by a new five speed R380 by Ashcroft for significantly better highway gearing. Because of this combination, this beast cruises along the highway at 70 mph at about 3000 rpm getting 25-30 mpg! All electronics gone through, sorted, and checked for safety and functionality by a certified automotive electrician at Crazy Nae's Jeep Wave (no worries about old British electrical gremlins hiding). New drivers door, new front door hinges and new striker plates so the doors open and shut as they should (and if you've ever dealt with Defenders before, you know how rare this is). Clean rust free chassis, rear crossmember, bulkheads, floorboards and rear seat boxes. New LED halo headlights with amber halo indicators, new LED turn signals, tail lights, and reverse light. New rear door card and new stainless steel chequer plate wing guards. Paint (with the exception of driver's door and rear door) and interior are original; and while the paint is average for an off road vehicle its age, interior is nice for its age. A new door graphic will be included in the sale if desired, but since a lot of people like to have these wrapped, I didn't want to put on a brand new graphic if the new owner was going to take it right off and wrap it. As I said, interior is nice for its age. 11 passenger configuration with cubby box, floor mats, headliner and sunroof all part of the county package.
This is a nice, original survivor Defender that could be enjoyed as is, or could be built out to ultra luxury spec. Turns heads like crazy and people get the heck out of it's way on the road! Oh, and a quick word for people who might be looking to scam me. I work for the United States Postal Service. I have a very good friend (we'll call her Tasha) who works for the Postal Inspection Service (the investigations and law enforcement branch of the USPS).
