Land Rover Defender 200TDI 90 1993

Its a 1993 genuine Defender 200tdi with its proper defender tdi engine.
131198k on the clock, 10 months mot
Paint is fair condition.
WINCH
You certainly cant miss it! Fairey pto driven winch mounted in a Fairey beefy galved bumper, emergency stop button mounted on wing top, amazing winch just doent stop or slow down unless you want it to.
ENGINE
Genuine defender 200tdi motor
Cam belt done approx 20k ago
Oil and filter changed every 5k, good quality mineral oil.
Recent radiator with 16 inch electric fan
Silicone coolant and intercooler hoses, also std fit performance intercooler.
Starts on the button as any good 200 should.
Full stainless exhaust system believed to be Janspeed.
Recent starter motor and alternator, all new earth cables fitted at the same time
TRANSMISSION
lT77 box decent condition, oil changed yearly.
LT230 good condition 1.4 ratio, replaced 2013, oil changed yearly
Diffs both std 3.54 and good condition oil changed yearly
New front prop this year
New rear prop last year
X-Engineering disc handbrake, excellent bit of kit.
INTERIOR
Dash pretty standard apart from boost gauge and voltage meter also has proper capilliary temperature guage.
Heated seats
Genuine front floor mats, all proper 200 tdi soundproofing still present and correct.
Sensible all round security, will show to any prospective purchaser.
Rear side windows slide and open
Radio CD player and 4 speakers
Central cubby box, I also have the original centre seat
Heavy duty waterproof seat covers
Fire ext mounted on top of bulkhead between seats
Jackall Hi lift jack mounted to the back of the bulkhead on strong mounts
Wheel brace behind seats
BRAKES
Grooved front discs
Couple of new callipers over the last couple of years along with some new kunifer brake pipe.
Good pads all round, easy another 10k of life if not more.
CHASSIS
Chassis cleaned and painted 5 years ago, rewaxed every year without fail.
Vin number clearly visible.
New galved heavy duty rear crossmember fitted last year with extensions, made by pressbrake, google it.
New tow ball assy fitted
BULKHEAD
No holes or visible rot and has been fine all the time I have owned it, waxed yearly along with the chassis.
UNDEBODY PROTECTION
Front galved steering guard
Tree sliders again galved
Terrafirma tranmission skid plate modded to protect the pto as well.
BODY
All glass security etched
Paint tidy but defo not mint, few minor dents and scratches.
Headlamp surrounds and grill painted silver
Wing tops and bonnet chequer plated
Genuine Safari snorkel all plumbed up properly and not just for show.
Roof is security marked in large letters/numerals
Front and rear mud flaps fitted
Raised heater intake
Led rear worklamp
WHEELS and TYRES
Swing away spare wheel carrier
Fitted with 5 x Michelin XZL 8.25 tyres these alone are worth decent money and give loads of clearance under the diffs, tyres fitted to 5 x wolf wheels
SUSPENSION
Plus 1.5 inch springs.
Plus 5 inch Terrafirma shocks front and rear, also has drop top mounts on the rear, so if you want to go mad with the lift the shocks can handle it with ease.
Some polybushes fitted apart from the front radius arms that was recently fitted with std rubber ones as the poly ones wore out, which annoyed me somewhat.
STEERING
One swivel ball replaced last year as seal was leaking.
Pas box drop arm replaced with genuine oe item as gaiter had split
Recent new oe pas pump
I have every receipt since owning the car, these all come with the car, incl old mots etc
Alos a V888 which if you dont know is the dvla entire history of the car, every owner , plate changes etc etc.
BAD BITS
Not many, sunroof leak so I sealed it up
Heated rear window does not work as the glass elements have worn out, I have used the power supply for the rear work lamp.
The car as a whole is not perfect, but is very presentable, and just works like any decent tool should do, its been exceptionally reliable for the last 5 years as was my daily drive.
Remember its 22 years old and is not like a normal car in any shape or form.
