Land Rover Defender 110 300tdi County Station Wagon 1997

1997 Land Rover Defender 110 in metallic green. When new this was the top of the Defender range. Lots of service history including timing belt change new clutch kit fitted and pro-comp shock absorbers. Bodywork including doors in good condition for the age - the rear door has been replaced and is a different shade of green. The rear left mudguard needs painting Bulkhead has no corrosion. Rear cross member has been replaced. MOT until June 2016 - I think the chassis will need welding for the next one though. Mileage is 176K but will be going up as the vehicle is in use. Side runners with chequerplate. 5 x boost alloys.Interior is immaculate with chequerplate in the rear load area. Inspection welcomed and recommended. Please do not bid if you are expecting a modern day 4 x 4 - this is a Land Rover Defender which means they are basic but an indestructible icon of British engineering. With the right money spend on it this one will be amazing. The usual Defender niggles - the fuel gauge doesn't work. No cd player. Rear left door doesn't open - it needs a new button.
