Description
For sale my much loved Land Rover 110, country station wagon original factory V8, i've owned it for 17 years, over the years i have done too many things to list or remember, it has always been regularly serviced by me so i only have some service history, but have a folder full of receipts for the numerous bit i've bought over the years, & most of mot's
This has always been a second car for me, used for holidays, never off road, so used infrequently, but generally each outing is hundreds of miles, it's spent most of it's life with me sat at 60mph on the motorway, end of last year we did a 1500 mile trip to isle of skye. & it's been always been incredibly reliable
Mileage 204,000
drives & stops well, it is set up as a dual fuel car, but I have always run it 100% on LPG & always starts even in depths of winter, 90 litre LPG tank in the boot, i do still have the petrol tank, although not fitted (removed to weld cross member) & all the fuel line & pump still in place.
LT 95 4 speed gear box supposedly indestructible, with Overdrive
Engine in good condition, compression good
serviced at 202k, engine oil, new timing chain, gearbox oil, transfer oil, axles oil, grease for life in front swivels
New front disc & callipers & new steering damper
stainless steel exhaust
good Quality matching Copper ST 265 tyres with loads of tread left, spare different, wheel & tread but still loads life in it
If you know anything about Land Rovers, the main problem is always rust, this is really solid under, much better than on top
Had new rear cross member, both front outriggers replaced in last couple of years
Mid cross member replaced with galvanised version
galvanised rear body tub top
Foot wells have been patched
all welding work done by a professional welder, not a car mechanic who welds occasionally often badly
bulkhead is solid, & door post's, the black you can see in pictures is wax oil i've painted over the paint & could be removed with white spirt
all the chassis, bulkhead, door post, all the problem areas has been wax oiled many times & has been regularly jet wash to stop dirt build up
Paint work has numerous chip & scratches, & the door bottoms are rusty, but with the wax oil they have not got worse since I've had the car, as it not an MOT failure, so I've not fixed them
The roof has the external re-enforcements, so you can just chuck anything on with a roof rack
originally a 12 seater, but now only has 6 seat, as the boot seat are removed, but i still have them & could be refitted
Tow bar in the picture will be removed & the original OEM refitted
Interior has the updated seats with chequer plate cloth, new headliner
Headlamp upgraded with relays, huge improvement on standard
blue tooth stereo & USB
This is a 30 year old car, so don't expect a new car, or it to drive, or be as quite, like a modern 4X4, i think it's a good solid Land Rover, & it will be much missed
Send me a message if you want more info, or pictures taking of a area/component or to view
