1995 Land rover defender 300tdi
Very low km’s, 114,594kms, very good condition for its age
Engine has Turner Engineering ported and polished head, full size Allard motorsport front mount intercooler, 3” straight through exhaust, runs about 15lb of boost at max and has had a tune and drives very well, far better than any other tdi I have driven. Alternator has been replaced with 100A genuine discovery unit.
50mm lift, Dobinson coils and lovell shocks, return to centre steering damper, heavy duty steering arms, terrafirma radius arms, terrafirma cranked rear trailing arms, dislocation cones front and rear, coils are clamped at the bottom. Rear maxi-drive locker with HD axles. Diff guard on front diff. Extended wheel arch flares, 16x8 -25 offset dynamic steel rims, 285/75/16 Kelly safari tsr (10000km old). HD clutch. Does 10L per 100 all day every day.
Long range tanks 100L rear 50L sill tank (drivers side), Stainless water sill tank approx. 40 - 50L (passenger side). Safari Snorkel, Hannibal roof rack and ladder (comes with rack sides and back and s/s fittings). ARB steel winch bar, just re-powder coated. Superwinch X9 winch with 30m steel cable, currently not fitted because has been fully rebuilt with new bearings and re packed with grease. Mantec rear wheel carrier.
Tinted windows. From front to back entire floor has been covered in alloy backed butyl sound deadener (like dynamat), also inside doors. On top of this has been covered with mass loaded vinyl (soundproof vinyl). Front and rear floor panels were done out of car then sika flexed back in with new fittings where needed (painted with sound deadener on bottom as well). Mass loaded vinyl glued inside door skins as well as sound deadener. 25mm insulation across the whole roof inside.
Raptor engineering centre dash, glove box, dash cover and dash binnacle (replaces the plastic one behind instrument cluster). VDO boost, egt and tacho gauges. Led dash lighting. Uniden UHF. Engine watchdog temp alarm system. Immobiliser
New heater core, new coolant tubes where needed, rear wheel bearings and new stub axles done last month, pretty much the whole front end swivels, bearings, half shafts etc done 18 months ago. When I bought the vehicle I had both driver and passenger foot wells professionally replaced / repaired to remove rusted sections, new power steer pump 18months ago
Always serviced by Land rovers only in Townsville. My pride and joy, but unfortunately life changes and this no longer meets my needs. Lock it in low range and go anywhere this beast is amazing, the best purpose built off road vehicle ever made! Drive has to be experienced, not like any other tdi I have driven, more power, next no backlash in the driveline. Almost all the rattles and noises have been stopped with the sound deadening etc.
