Description
A very sad sale of my special Defender. I purchased the vehicle last year as a keeper. This car is MOT exempt and Tax exempt which is very rare. Although I had the car mot March this year. I had the old 2.5 turbo Diesel engine removed and a discovery 200 TDI conversion carried out by a landlord re specialist ex Hunters main dealer. the engine has done around 110,000 and was looked after from new by the landrover specialist at a cost of £2,300. the Carried out was upgraded heavy duty clutch fork and release bearing, new glow plugs, new cam belt tent inner and pulleys, new diesel lift pump, brand new 4 general grabber tyres. Full shake down on all the mechanics then taken for an mot, new indicator switch and a ball joint required, since the conversion I have replaced the exhaust, fitted bull bar and spotlights. Last week (22nd October 2015) I had the vehicle re sprayed. k did not want any of the dents filled so there are dents all over the car but I quite liked the character, I have fitted chequer plate. the vehicle has had a 2inch lift carried out by the previous owner. repost of 10% required within 24 hours of the auction ended and the car collected within 7 days cash on collection or transferred monies before hand which have been fully cleared. Remember this car is MOT exempt and car tax exempt. However it does have a current mot.
a few people have queried why is mot and tax exempt the vehicle classification for road duty is Agricultural. if you wanted to pay the road tax it is a simple process and you can register it as a car as normal and just pay the road fund, I'm happy to help if someone so wished.
