Description
She was sold new to her first owner by Driffield Land Rover Centre Humberside. He was an elderly gentleman who only ever used the vehicle for local trips and following stock down the fields. Needless to say then that he only covered a mere 15,000 miles during his 8 years of ownership. Then in 2005, the truck was purchased by Wardmans of Matlock who supplied and sold her to her last and current keeper. During their ownership the truck has been incredibly well looked after mechanically, and has again only ever been used for local journeys, not consisting of trips any further than from their farm outside Leominster to Hereford market.
The truck came to us direct from her second owner, and it quickly became apparent that it really deserved a fresh coat of its original Portofino Red paint and a little modernising. She was in total standard form, with its original white roof and steel wheels, and although beautifully straight and original, the paint was rather faded. The transformation to what you see in front of you today was sympathetic, and everything used during the process has either been standard equipment or of equivalent standards. It’s beautiful!
