1996 Defender 300tdi County Station Wagon. Full nut and bolt restoration.

For Auction my beloved Land Rover Defender. Only used for towing a caravan and fishing trips, but we are retiring from caravanning and it isn't, being used. Last year a full nut and bolt restoration carried out. No expense spared and has done 9,500 miles since. Chassis: Shot, blasted to bare metal, no rust found or any welding required. Powder coated and professionally Waxoyled. Also doors stripped and Waxoyled. Bulkhead in perfect condition. No rust or corrosion ANYWHERE. New front bumper and corners. New crystal headlights and headlight surrounds. New front grille. New wing vents. New inner wings. New Mantec Snorkel. New doors, front, rear and back complete with new locks New side steps and rear step. Body resprayed in Bronze Green from original Epson Green. 5 New Land Rover deep dish/boost alloy wheels fitted with new tyres to match. New steering rods, linkages and ball joints. All powder coated. New suspension complete with new springs, turrets, dampers and arms. New Teflon coated swivel housings. All bushes replaced, mostly with Polybushes. Full engine overhaul. New timing belt and tensioners. New alternator. New water pump. New radiator. New pulley belt and tensioner.. Complete new clutch and operating fork. Re-manufactured gearbox. Re manufactured transfer box. New seals and bearings on prop-shafts and diffs. New braking system New discs all round. New brake calipers and brake pads all round. New handbrake cable and handbrake pads. New copper pipework and flexibles. New fuel tank and fuel guage sender unit. Complete new exhaust. New interior. New 5 half leather seats. Front seats with heaters, but not connected. New roof lining. New door cards. New leather edged carpets. New Land Rover heavy duty rubber mats. New seat belts. Radio/C.D. Works well, but maybe needs an upgrade. Momo steering wheel to give more leg/tummy room. Leather rimmed with aluminium spokes. Cubby box. Not new, but in very good condition. Rear carpeted out without bench seats making the vehicle a 5 seater. (Insurance is cheaper). Roof rack to be included. It wasn't new, but has been stripped and painted with glossy black Hammerite and looks good. No ladder fitted because I use a telescopic ladder which is lighter, safer and more practical. Dixon Bates towbar and full electrics fitted. Towbar bracket powder coated and Waxoyled. Immobiliser and expensive alarm fitted. 2 sets of keys. Serviced at 5000miles. 30Mpg. Private plate included. Bad bit. Very slight dent on rear offside door. No idea how it got there, but it can be very easily and cheaply sorted by a mobile dent removing specialist. Payment. A £200 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of auction ending. the balance in cash or cleared cheque. Viewing is highly recommended, there aren't many as good as this. the first to view will want to buy it.
