Defender 110 Ex Military Recent New release
It has to be the latest 300 tdi I think I have ever seen, by this time the civilian ones were all the TD5
No Computers, No limp mode just good solid dependable engineering that should last for years
If you are looking for one to keep this is it,
The chassis, bulkhead and cross members are all good and show no signs of any welding or for that matter needing any.
All door frames are very good
Since being released from the military its done about 200 miles
It starts instantly
The has done around 123000 miles I consider it to be totally genuine as it drives very nicely indeed
with no clunks or vagueness
Sadly you dont get the history generally with ex military stuff
Its got the Land Rover Special Vehicles Badge on the back, which means it was a military special order and has most likely been over seas

The tyres are all good and are Michelin x type including spare, the fronts look virtually new as they still have the bobbles on them
The Brakes are light and stop evenly .
Really goes well with very smooth transmission and gears etc
Being the 300TDI it has power steering and the R380 Gearbox
The military maintain these totally regardless of cost
I had it serviced which included engine oil and all filters
The body is generally very straight with only a few very minor dents(please see photos)
It has been recently painted and looks really smart both outside and in
The heater is actually hot ! It needs nothing, its ready for work or play
I operate a handful of ex military land rovers at festivals, events and TV location and prop stuff, including Midsomer Murders and Doctor Who !
This one has been used about 2 or 3 times in the 3 years I have owned it
so therefore it needs to be passed on to someone who is going to use it and enjoy it
I took a long time to find and were way in excess of what I am selling for.
Many of these are released in damaged or non running this was not one of those
I think this one really represents a highly unusual opportunity, Defender production is stopping any moment and the prices for 300 TDis must have now bottomed out. This is a rare Landy
It currently has just 2 refurbished standard Grey twill (brushed Vinyl ) front seats
I have registered it as Private Light goods and as a six seater with the DVLA which also makes it LEZ Compliant.
I can happily now get it configured in what ever way you want at cost eg. extra seats front, rear, cubby box or just as it is
