Defender 110 Commercial for sale. 1994. 138777miles
Is currently off road as i have been advised it will need welding to the chassis before we can put it through an MOT. Is a fantastic Defender, reliable and starts immediately as it should with a great engine. I have made several trips from Yorkshire to Kent over the last couple of years in it and it runs without a hiccup. Covered only 5000 miles last year with very light use..
A year ago had the track rod ends replaced as well as upgrading the headlights and surrounds to new halogen lamps as well as new filters, a new shock turret and seatbelts.
Great interior with new seats and centre console makes it a comfortable ride for one of these workhorses and the back is ply lined and clean.
Has the galvanised roof bars fitted with rear ladder, means you carry 8x4ft sheets on the roof.
Does have a few issues as expected for a defender of this age with some rust particularly on the passenger door and as identified by the land rover specialist underneath. Will require some work before an MOT.
No real damage to the body work which is in good condition, apart from a few light scrapes etc, a bit of paint off the back door. Love having it and it really suits our rustic furniture business but we need to run a van to take long loads so this has to go rather than get repaired.
To someone who knows what they are doing this would make a great project and is a great landy.
It is on a Q plate and we understand from the previous owner who had it since 2006 that is used to be a Water board vehicle and had a pump stolen from under the grill at the side when it was subsequently re-registered from a commercial vehicle. We ran a HPI when we bought it and it came back clear.
