Description
1988 Land Rover Defender 90
with 300TDi Engine
I have for sale my 1988 Land Rover Defender 90. I had bought this as a project to gradually 'do up' over time, but a move now necessitates it's sale. The original engine has been replaced with a Land Rover 300TDi engine by the previous owner.
It has a full years MOT and is taxed until the end of August.
It originally had issues with the electrics when I bought it, but these have been sorted by an electrics specialist. The speedometer does not work, but should just need a new cable fitted. A new bulkhead and crossmember was recently fitted by the previous owner and my mechanic commented on the good condition of the chassis for it's age when it was MOT'd in May.
This Land Rover is a really good runner and starts first time everytime. It has the usual bumps and scrapes for a Land Rover of this age, but generally it is in not too bad a condition as you can see from the photos.
There is a genuine reason for this sale and if it were not for my move I would definitely not be considering selling it.
This has to be a quick sale so I will consider a sensible offer, but please, no chancers.
