Company Car forces sale - Very reluctant!
Although we have not owned this car for long it has been well looked after and had a considerable amount of money spent providing the next owner added peace of mind. We purchased this car as a run around and school pickup for the wife however she has now got a company car arriving therefore need the space on the drive.
The Discovery starts first time and every time, does not overheat and has been 100% reliable. We have spent a considerable amount since owning it and you will be pleased to know we have had the head pressure tested and all is ok. We did this after purchasing as we did not want to be spending money to later find there was major underlying problems. However all is good and we have recently purchase 4 brand new tyres, replaced water pump and the power steering pipes (known for rotting and is a big job to replace). All in all we have spent in excess of £1.7k since owning however when it comes to children we want a safe and reliable car and have never cut corners on repair works.
Discovery's are built to last and please do not be put off the mileage as the engine and mechanics are all in good working order and will easily do that mileage again. We have owned a few in the past and i personally love them and the facelift version looks a lot more modern. Everything on the car works as it should and there are no rips or tears in the interior which is in good condition. There are a few scratches and dents to the paintwork as we purchased off a farm. We was going to get around to touching these up and once done the car will look pristine. I would rate the current bodywork condition to be poor-average however there is no rust and just need the scratches touching up.
Sad to see this go however we do need the space and will make someone a great reliable 4X4. I will not accept silly bids as i have spent a considerable amount on this since owning and would rather see it blocking my driveway than giving it away so please no silly offers! I require a £200 deposit within 2 hours of auction end and collection of the car within 7 days. Please remember you bid to win. Any viewings or inspection is welcome before auction end.
