2002 (52 plate) Land Rover Discovery TD5

As mentioned, finished in bright Monte Carlo Blue with tundra (green/grey) cloth trim this is a genuine 'facelift' model. Seven seats with rear air suspension.Being a bit of a Land Rover 'nut' I have recently changed to a Freelander and as I can't justify having four cars in the household my Discovery is now for sale.I used this vehicle as my everyday car on a 50 mile daily commute and as such has been used but not abused. Maintained regardless I have a full service and ownership history. Also used as family leisure time vehicle, most recently towing our caravan around France without problem.To answer the most common questions about Discovery 2 models - the chassis is fine and there is no problem with oil entering the injection wiring harness.Does have the odd mark in the paint plus small dings and scratches but nothing major. I have just had the bonnet resprayed as the lacquer in the paint was peeling, plus a new steering lock (genuine Land Rover) as the ignition key could jam.Have blanked the EGR to improve performance.Viewing encouraged and can be arranged at any reasonable time.I am in no particular rush to sell (no finance etc ) so please no silly offers. I have owned Land Rovers' for a long time so know the market well Also please note I will regard a purchase as binding (no backing out due to a mad drunken purchase etc. Similarly I will consider all genuine export requests but ''no cheques cashed and keep the change etc''.Delivery , at cost, may be possible
