Land Rover Discovery 4.0 Petrol, 1999/S Reg, 93k, Automatic.
This vehicle is fitted with a Zavoli LPG system with certificate.
Mot till March 2017- only advisory was that the rear pads will need doing in a few thousand miles.
The car starts and drives perfectly on petrol. There are no warning lights on the dash.
It automatically switches to lpg after a few miles but when cold it pops and does not run properly under load. If you switch back to fuel it runs fine. When warm I would say it runs ok on lpg but not perfect. I am sure it is a small fault but do not know anyone locally to have a look at it.
This vehicle is ready to go to work but would be nice to get lpg working properly to save£££ on fuel!.
It is in very good condition for the age, the underneath is rust free and protected. I can see no signs of any previous welding and there are no advisorys for rust on mot. One of the rear doors has a small patch of rust at the bottom but the rest of the bodywork is excellent for age.
The interior is good, drivers seat is slightly worn as shown in pictures. The head lining is sagging slightly in places. It is the full 7 seat version and is fitted with tow bar and dog guard. All tyres are good and I have 2 keys.
There is a full folder of receipts and all books present. I have the full V5. The previous keeper has owned this since 2006.
I am told the previous keeper took the vehicle to Australia for years then bought back to this country so think that it is why it is so clean because normally these are rust buckets at this age.
If you want a cheap 4x4 then you would not be disappointed with this vehicle.
This vehicle is strictly sold as seen due to age and lpg issue but any full inspection and test drive is welcome prior to bidding.
