Selling my 2001 TD5 Discovery 2
The truck has all the fruit, and has been offroaded, but nothing extreme. Has always been maintained, had some big work done at Davis Performance about 60k ago (receipts)
When I bought the truck it had the following:
new transfer case with CDL (had t/fer case rebuilt approx 60km ago) NOTE CDL cable is jammed, dirt or something. The mech at the t'fer case works fine.

Dual battery in rear with REDARC isolator
Ritters front recovery point

Tru speed calibrator thingy (if you want to run different sized wheels for on/off road

I have since added a Warn 9000lb winch. Roof rack with front and rear lights.
Home made drawer system with fridge slide. Been to Cape York the hard way and didn't fall apart.
Side awning - best investment ever!
Icom radio - programmable to the new 80 channel system, (but not done yet)
Kenwood head unit - basic with auxiliary input
Console mounted switches for lights, lockers etc
Winch isolation switch
It has space for a 20L water jerry behind OSR seat
LED strips in cargo area
Ram mount
Comes with Hawkeye diagnostic tool

Discoveries are known to have a few unique issues, I have addressed every one of them that I'm aware of
exhaust manifold faced and new studs
fuel pressure regulator
new radiator
fan spindle bearing replaced
new crankshaft pulley
new idler pulley bearings
new battery
ECM harness etc etc etc

The truck is overall good, but well used condition. The drivers seat could do with a retrim. The upholstery is a bit dirty through out. The hood lining is sagging. There's some scratches all over the truck.
The truck is currently unregistered, but I can't see why it wouldn't pass blue slip. Tyres are good, Federal Couragia muds. Would consider getting the blue slip for the buyer if the price is right.
It's an honest truck, it is what it is. I'm not aware of any problems with it, I've upgraded my rig, and was undecided as to what to do with the Disco.but now I've decided to sell it. Could be a good cheap truck for someone.
