Description
I
have for my Land Rover Discovery 3 TDV6 2005
Just to summarise a few key points:-
Cheaper tax bracket due to it being a 2005 model
Rare 6 Speed manual
Maintained regardless of cost – please read further for more details
Will be sold with 12 months mot
130,000miles will vary as still in use
Rare Bonneti Grey colour
All usual specification with xenon lights, heated seats front/rear and harmon kardon stereo as upgrades – Everything works as it should including the Wabasto heater.
With regards to the work carried out on this vehicle I have been a mechanic for 15 years and carried out all the work myself. I have every receipt to prove everything that has been done. It had its major service at 105k, I changed every fluid in the vehicle including gearbox, transfer box and differentials and both timing belts were changed. It had new wishbones fitted to the rear around November time and I polybushed the front wishbones so all the bushes are perfect (Very common problem). I fitted a new compressor last week – uprated AMK version (Software update also done). Recent brake pads front and back. X2 Brand new General grabber AT2 fitted to the front and the rears are around 60% worn. It has also been four wheel laser aligned. This is just some of the work that has been done I have a folder full of receipts.
The discovery has been family owned for a number of years. I will be transferring the registration off the vehicle and it will go onto OJZ 7204, which is an Irish style number plate which I had on retention but I feel the vehicle looks better with a non-age related plate on.
Please study the pictures, there are a few marks here and there but nothing that wouldn’t be expected for an 11 year old car. It has a parking dink in the driver’s door which could easily be repaired and the wheels could do with a refurb.
I think it would be very hard to find a Discovery that has been maintained as good as this one. I have never added the cost of the receipts up but I’m sure it would be quite an impressive number.
It will be sold with one key and all the relevant paperwork. Also included will be the detachable tow bar (all lubricated and not seized like most) and a removable boot liner.
Will be sad to see this go as it’s the most practical car I have ever owned.
It will be sold as seen and I have the right to remove the advert at any time. I will not remove the advert until the vehicle has been paid for in full and collected.
Cash or BACS on collection
Any questions please feel free to contact me via the ebay messages and I will promptly reply.
Thank you
