Description
Landrover Discovery Td5
I am selling my Discovery series 2 as i have taken the brave step and upgraded to a Disco 3!
It is in good condition all round apart from a couple of scrapes on the front and rear corners, as you can see in the photos, the drivers side front head light also mists up at times but this doesn't affect the light output at all. The car has also just had a full Valet so you can appreciate the beautiful deep gloss black paint! There are a couple of age related scratches but nothing too bad! It also has the later style Comet Alloys, all with good tyres, and privacy glass.
The interior is in great condition, very clean benefitting from also just being deep cleaned and a protecter used
on the upholstery and carpets during the valet.
The car has 189000 miles on the clock but the engine was changed just after i bought the car as it was sold to me with a porous head!! The engine that has since been fitted has 34000 miles less on it than the original did (so is at 155000 miles, just run in really :o)).
I have also had a JE Engineering stage 1 remap done, this has improved the fuel consumption and given the car a lot more low down torque, ideal for towing a large trailer or caravan. The EGR valve has been removed as has the catalytic converter and the exhaust centre pipe (all fully road legal).
The ACE (active cornering something or other?!?) has been removed from the car due to a series of components failing, all Ace parts were removed and standard anti roll bars and equipment were installed. This was done by, and on the recommendation of a Land Rover mechanic and to be honest I don't think it makes any noticable difference to the car or how it drives.
The car is fitted with all steel tree slider side steps, I did this as I was going to use the car for green laning so wanted some good protection for it, but in reality I just could face potentially ruining the paint or the look of the car so the most it has seen is a muddy camping field!!
There is also a Parrot blue tooth system custom fitted into the car that I will be leaving in for the new buyer.
The usual eBay things apply and The Vehicle is advertised else where blah blah blah!!
Viewings welcome, strictly cash on collection!!
Any questions email me or call Paul on 07875109089.
Thanks for looking and Happy bidding.
