Land Rover Discovery 1 (300tdi) 1997.
I got this in Sept 2014 as a 2nd car for towing a caravan and with the intention of taking it off-road. The caravan was sold not long after getting this and the off-road never happened. It's pretty much been a spare car that I couldn't bring myself to sell but now I'm hardly using it at all so it's time it made some space on the driveway.
The good bits.
Starts and runs perfect every time. Starts in cold weather without any doubt. Low ratio and diff-lock work great and engage without a problem. A/T tyres. Sat Nav system from single din stereo with 7" touch screen. Bluetooth stereo with additional iPod connection in glove box. MOT until sept 2016 and passed last one without a problem. 7 seats. Full size roof rack (6" deep). Rear arches have been replaced. Boot is solid. Very capable in mud and snow. Reverse camera for stereo in box but not fitted.
The bad bits.
Cosmetic damage, this car has suffered it's share of wear and tear but has been mechanically looked after. Rear left elec window disconnected due to missing part in mechanism (it's a broken plastic wheel that I can't get a spare for. If it's a make/break point of a sale then if you send me the matching part from another window I will 3D print a new one).
That's pretty much it. The car is a great runner and has never let me down. I use it every couple of weeks to travel to work and back just to keep the battery topped up but it's never needed a charge and it starts quickly first time every time.
