Description
LAND ROVER FREELANDER 2.0 Td4 GS AUTOMATIC 5 DOOR STATION WAGON
LM51 FTZ
Hello and welcome to the sale of this Land Rover Freelander GS fitted with the superb BMW Td4 engine. The vehicle has covered just under 81000 miles from new and comes with a great service history, the last service was carried out only 2 months ago. Below is a more detailed description of the car.
INTERIOR
The car is fitted with the ‘easy to maintain’ cloth patterned interior, which comes with; 5 seats, Kenwood upgraded stereo, parrot Bluetooth, 5 x electric windows, electric mirrors, centre armrest storage compartment and Air conditioning among other items. The interior is in very good condition with only the odd bit of minor wear and tear inline with the age and mileage of a Land Rover. The handbrake light on the dash stays on but I believe this is down to the switch under than handbrake staying down (common problem and cheap fix). 2 doors can be tempermental, all doors lock but the drivers door has to be opened with the key. Otherwise all electrics work and I’m sure the new owner will be very happy with the condition.
EXTERIOR
A lovely looking car finished in metal grey with great looking side steps and spare alloy wheel. There are a few dints and scratches around the vehicle but honestly nothing you wouldn’t expect from a Land Rover of this age. There is nothing too bad and nothing too large but expect the odd blemish. The alloy wheels are in good condition with only the odd kerb mark and 2 new tyres were fitted at the front fairly recently. The grey bumpers need some back to black finish on them to bring them back up as they are faded, this can be done cheaply and easily. I hope the pictures speak for themselves.
ENGINE AND DRIVE
The BMW engine has covered a mere 81000 miles from new and is backed up with a great service history as you can see below. I have MOT’s back to 2010 and I’m sure you can get the rest on the .GOV website. The current MOT expires 29/11/2015 - Advised Metal brake pipes coated in grease. (MOT test number for any checks - 726922034364). The drive is good and strong and the automatic gearbox is working well. The propshaft is in and makes no wurring noises, the only thing I should mention is when turning left and right hard it makes a clunking noise - I believe this to be the propshaft hitting on something, it sounds like metal on metel. Other than that I feel it’s a great vehicle with good low mileage.
