Description

Hi I am selling my Land Rover Discovery 2 TD5 ES as I have updated to a Range Rover Sport.
I bought it for $7k 18 months ago and spent $5k on it since so not interested in lowball offers.
This vehicle is in good condition and has been well maintained. Feels like it has a lot of life left in it when you drive it, recent rebuilt transmission and these engines are known to go 500k and beyond.
Recent work done:
- Full transmission rebuild 17,000km ago cost $3000+
- Rebuilt fuel pressure regulator
- New fuel pump
- New injector harness
- New rear discs
- New battery 3 months ago 2 year warranty $220
- Recently had exhaust manifold machined and new gasket
FEATURES
Towbar, nudgebar, HID spotlights (needs to be wired)
This is the top of the range so has the active cornering and load levelling suspension, just missing the fog lights and wasn't optioned with sunroof (good thing for this age - no leaks).
With the ACE system it corners flat and handles very well for a solid axle 4x4.
- Dual zone climate control
- Hill Descent control
- ABS
- Dual Airbags
- Leather interior in good condition on all 7 seats
- CD stacker and Harmon Kardin stereo - steering wheel controls
- 3.5 tonne towing capacity makes them a popular budget option for towing caravans and horse floats.
- Yokohama Geolander tyres all round.
- Load levelling suspension
- electric everything
Worth your while inspecting - don't compare to non ES Discovery - this has nearly as much gear as my Range Rover half as old.
No swaps wanted thanks I already have 4 other cars.
If you are in the market for a GQ Patrol 80 Series Landcruiser or Pajero, I'd recommend driving one of these. Parts are cheap from the UK.
$6k as is or will supply RWC for $500 extra, I just don't have the time to fix the small stuff.
May break up for parts so let me know if you want a TD5 motor or a fresh rebuilt auto. $3k each firm.
