1979 Land Rover 109 Series III, LHD, 4X4, Diesel, Former Dutch ArmyNice

1979 Land Rover 109 Series III, 4X4, left hand drive, 4 speed manual, soft top, former Dutch Army. A couple of months ago, I imported (from the UK), this 109 and a Defender 110, planning to keep my preference and sell the other. So, for sale is this 109. It starts easily and runs great with a 24 volt electric system and two new batteries. The diesel motor is 4 cylinders and I believe 2.25 or so liters. As it is 35 years old, this 109 is going to need some level of restoration. The frame and body are straight with minimal rust, far less than other older Land Rovers I considered. There is a bit of rust on the bottom of the left front door pillar. Headlights, brakelights, turn signals work as do the wipers. There are pinholes in the soft top which will need repairing. Included with this sale is a Land Rover Series III repair manual. This 109 is located in Dallas Texas and available for viewing.
