Description
1991 Range Rover Classic for sale in Roman Bronze. Clean Texas title in my name.
I have spent the last 6 months refurbishing the truck and now looking to sell to make space for my next project. I am only the second owner of the car. It spent all its life in New Mexico and has zero rust, other than the usual superficial surface rust on the underside components.
Everything works on the truck as it should, including the AC which I repaired and recharged with R12. I have been through everything with too many items to list, but the big things include a full oil service, inc transmission and differentials, new plug/leads, distributor cap/rotor and tune up. New water pump, new fuel pump and fuel filter. New upper tailgate (I have the old one if the new owner wants it). I had all the interior wood trim professionally refurbished. The truck has new tires. New front fog lamps. I also repaired the cruise control which now works.
Truck starts first time, every time. Drives straight and true and has excellent brakes (ABS works).
I have the owners manual and the tool kit.
The truck is not perfect and I would highlight the following items:
The body and paint is original and has a few scrapes and dings. I have not had this repaired as its only original once and I think it adds some character to the truck. I do have new side moldings and 'Range Rover' front/rear decals which will come with the truck, but never installed them as I was in two minds about a respray.
The truck as all original glass (apart from the tailgate) and the heated front windshield has a couple of small rock chips which I have stabilized.
The rev counter can be a little lazy sometimes.
The fuel gauge does not go all the way to full, even with a full tank. It does work however.
Very nice, solid, reliable Range Rover.
Open to sensible offers.
