I’ve owned this range rover for 5 years now, its always been the go to car however we now are the proud owners of a Mk III Rangey and living on a busy cul-de-sac have run out of space to keep it.
It’s been my weekend run about but with the new car there is honestly no need.
The car is finished in Rutland Red with cream Connolly Leather.
The paint is in OK for its age there are the inevitable stone chips and little car park pings however nothing overly noticeable Overall the bodywork is in reasonable condition for a car of this age and it comes up well with a polish.
I've recently (approx. 3 months ago) had the car serviced and as well as the usual changed :
New track rods
Fuel pump (a chronic failure for the P38 2.5l engine)
New fuel filter and non-return valve (less effort on start up)
New viscous fan unit
The last 10 years of MOT certificates are here and receipts along with the origional hand book and a big service history. Mileage is currently 217386 but the car is still used occasionally.
The interior leather is in good condition with the normal sign of wear on the drivers seat , Heated seats won't heat up. I suspect a faulty element as this is a common fault, but Front seats are full electric climate control works but takes a while to start blowing cold and probably could do with a re-gas.
Sunroof headliner is perfect and no sag in any way. All the electric windows and sunroof work just fine.
EAS suspension pump is in good, order fully overhauled about a year ago. The Hevac unit was replaced 18 months ago and all the blend motors work.
All the wheels and tyres are all in good condition and the spare and all jack/locking wheel nut are in place.
The Range Rover starts on the button, hot or cold and drives very well. In all, it is a reliable and tidy Range Rover DHSE. It has been looked after and drives very well.
