Description
Range Rover Vogue 2003 4.4 V8 Automatic Petrol
It is with great sadness I am selling my beloved Range Rover but circumstances means she must go.
Good Points:
3 owners from new two lady owners - part service history
I have only used her for local commutes and previous owner only used her for motorway miles
Has been serviced and maintained by a family Land Rover mechanic
Full cream leather interior
Alloy Wheels - 5 excellent tyres
Full spec navigation system and entertainment system
Comes with new thermostat housing and thermostat
Full gearbox service
About the Range:
I bought her in April 2013 with no tax or Mot. I had her MOT'd her got her taxed and started cruising in style :)
Then she developed a transmission fail safe problem - she would go into limp mode for no reason. I had her put onto diagnostics and it was the output speed sensor. Had that replaced and a gearbox serviced, all good :) Until I took her to Great Yarmouth in the May, she over heated dramatically and water came out of the rad, not pretty. I had a mechanic come out to me from the RAC who diagnosed it as the thermostat going. I had another mechanic come out to it who took the thermostat out along with the sensor and she drove home sweet as :) Bought a new thermostat and housing (including in sale) then July last year on a local trip it suddenly overheated on the slip road of the motorway and cut out. I left it alone and it restarted. I had a local mechanic look at it and he wasn't very helpful as to what was wrong with it.
Circumstances have happened in that I am now currently getting divorced and do not have the cash to get it fixed, so it has sat on my driveway for 11 months. I have had every intention of getting it fixed but think that now I should let it go and a new owner of having the joy of owning it. As you can see in the time I have owned it no expense has been spared. The previous lady owner also spent money on the vehicle and I have full details of what she had done to it in her ownership.
As you would expect with a 12 year old car there are age related scratches and dents - she is not brand new after all.
There is what is called over baking on the roof where some of the paint has flaked away - however this can be fixed cheaply.
I am asking a reasonable buy it now price this is fraction of what I have paid for it. Once repaired you are getting a fantastic car for a fraction of the price.
She is a fabulous drive has realistically only been driven for 3 months since her last MOT she is smooth and such a pleasure to drive and I am genuinely gutted to have to let her go.
I am not selling the private number plate - I have sent all the paperwork off to the DVLA to have the numberplate removed and I am expecting that back any day now.
Feel free to come view the car before bidding. She does have a flat battery after sitting for so long.
She has no tax or MOT so would need to be towed away.
Any Questions please ask :)
