Lexus GS300 1997 AUTO GOLD 123K MILES MOT 3.0 Liter
I am selling my Lexus GS300, after having bought it for a long road trip. I took this car 7,000 miles around Europe just this month, so it has been very well tried and tested. It's been extremely reliable with no issues on my trip at all!
Good matching set of tyres all round, with plenty of tread.
I bought brand new brakes for the car (discs and pads!) which cost a few hundred pounds. Of course the car comes with an MOT, but will need taxing. No service history, sorry.
Plenty of extras, such as heated front seats, which are also electrically adjustable. Leather front and back, xenon headlights, sunroof, 12 CD multi-changer. Also, all the usual extras you'd expect, such as aircon, power steering, cruise control, electric mirrors, central locking, etc. Plus an amazing set of speakers!
EXTERIOR:
A few little cosmetic marks about the body, as you'd expect on a car of this age, but overall, I'd say the car is better than most for it's age (I saw a few before buying this one). Ignore the little black specs on the front, shown in some photos - they're just dead flies. There are the typical small scuffs around bumpers. Unfortunately just 2 days ago someone bumped the left back side, resulting in a dent. I'll try to put a photo up when I get chance. It's not really really awful, but scuffed the paint a bit, so something to consider. I've taken a bit off of the price to reflect this.
INTERIOR:
Very clean inside, with pretty much nothing to mention. A bit of wear to the steering wheel, which is inevitable on a car of this mileage. Seats are clean and free of rips, etc. All in good condition.
MECHANICS:
Excellent! No faults at all. I was more than confident to drive it through 17 European countries and it gave me no trouble at all. Occasionally the brake light will remain on, on the dash, which I think is a faulty sensor. Brakes are completely fine, as I mentioned a new set of discs and pads have been fitted and they work perfectly. The back right window also doesn't work. Both keys are included.
Aside from the very minor points mentioned above, the car is fantastic. I believe it has been priced fairly so I'm sorry but I can't really negotiate on that.
Test drive is welcome, but please bring proof of insurance. Located just outside of Cardiff.
