Description
Up for sale my GS300. Took me a long time to find the right car to start with, Black on black GS300 sports are very hard to find. I take great pride in modifying cars. To me modifying things means making them better, not just sticking on pointless tat and bodging things together.
Quick run down on the spcec
GS300 Sport
Mileage 91k (very low mileage for a car of this age)
MOT (will check but from memory nov 2016)
LPG conversion with huge tank and certificate. LPG is around 54p a litre. So this works out the equivalent cost of 45mpg! The fuel economy is amazing and can be run on just petrol at the flick of a switch. I was dubious how complicated an LPG setup would be but it is so simple you wouldnt know its there, filling it up is easy and there is no complex systems to have to worry about. Save yourself a couple of grand a year on fuel.
Usual GS300 luxury features- Heated power seats, sunroof, auto close windows, electric steering wheel, airbags, digital climate control, aircon, sport mode, parking sensors etc etc
Engine is otherwise stock bar a TRD panel filter
Exterior:
Wald rear lip (fitted in pictures but currently off the car. I believe the only one in the country)
Wald sideskirts
GReddy front lip (fitted in pictures but currently off the car)
Clear side repeaters
Facelift rear lights
Sport rear spoiler
Sport front grille
JIC racing roof spoiler
JP chrome trunk trim
Wind deflectors
Black privacy glass
Factory HIDs
LED number plate lights
Front number plate delete (still have holder if you want it)
18x9.5 et10 720 wheels all round with good rubber, arches rolled no scrubbing or catching what so ever.
Now for the footwork. Its very easy to make a gs look awesome by slamming it on coilovers, however they then drive horrendously taking away the whole point of this being a luxury cruiser! I have spent a lot of money replacing pretty much every single suspension arm and bush up front to rectify this and it really does drive like a dream. Youd never know it has coilovers, there is no knocking or banging. It is quite low so the underside will scrape slightly on large speed bumps as to be expected
HSD Monopro Coilovers- The expensive ones
Shortened uprights- proffesionaly cut and welded- this is to stop the problem of the top arm banging on the chassis on bumps.
Megan racing roll centre adjusters- brings the stock arms back down 30mm to factory positions, eliminating bump steer
New lower ball joints
New upper wishbone arms and bushes
New bushed caster arms- the weakest point on the car. These are known to perish and then slowly cause all the other bushes to die.
New wheel bearings
Recent brakes all round
New front brake sliders- Another common fault for these cars.
Recent alignment
Interior:
Black leather
Black wood trim (very rare option)
Factory touch screen navigator unit with 6 disc multichanger, GPS needs updating to new maps. (aftermarket headunit in pictures not included)
Subwoofer as standard, premium sound system speakers- One of the best stock speaker setups ever made. It is awesome!
All interior lights replaced with bright white LEDs, footwells light up with white neons
Junction produce fusa knot
Junction produce neck cushions front and rear
Bad bits-
Very few! Engine managment light is on due to a o2 sensor needs replacing (this isnt guess work, have a fault code reader). It has been since ive owned it and makes no difference especially as its running LPG so have never bothered to replace it. When i first posted the ad it had a intermittent sticky front caliper, which was causing a bit of vibration under braking, i have now just replaced this and its much much better, however still a very slight judder as the front right disc is ever so slightly warped from previous caliper sticking, will try get it replaced this week or knock off the price of discs.
What it really needs to turn into a show stopper is a bit of tidying up on the outside. As you can see from the pictures it looks amazing as it is but up close it has the odd ding/crack etc, The bodykit i have placed on in the pictures so you can see how well it fits but havent fitted to the car, reason being its winter, i had planned to wait until summer and get it fitted and all the tiny bits sorted out and a fresh respray. Two of the wheels have very light kerbing however i may be able to replace them at a later date as once this is sold i will be ordering a set of identical wheels for my drift car. Bonnet pull is a bit stiff but works. All little niggly bits though, no big problems.
So there it. Please take note i have gone to good lengths to accurately describe the car, If you want a awesome looking GS that has all the right bits and just needs tidying up, this is for you. If your after a brand new gs300 then go down to lexus with £50,000 and buy one. Viewing is of course welcome but please please note i am not one for messing around. I have built and sold hundreds of cars over the years, i know what this is worth and what it has cost me so i dont want people turning up and pointing out every single mark in the paint etc and expect to drive the price down, I have priced it fairly for the condition it is in. I am looking for a nice friendly easy sale, not someone coming along to try and find problems.
There are no problems with the car, just a few bits listed above that could be improved.
So to summarize, Absolute balla gangster looks, with mega comfort and MPG better than most diesels
I am open to offers of px inside ebay rules, i.e you buy my car i buy yours ; )
